
EMC Student Assistance Form
Program Guidelines
1. The purpose of the EMC Student Assistance Program is: to provide an incentive for EMC students to study at Bible College; encourage attendance at Steinbach Bible College, our Conference-affiliated school and help in the preparation of ministry workers.
2. In order to be considered for financial assistance, the applicant must be a member in good standing in a local EMC church, register as a full-time student at SBC, 12 or more credit hours per semester for a full subsidy, or part-time at 6 or more credit hours for a partial subsidy and complete the required time of studies begun in that semester.
3. The maximum amount will be $300 per full-time student per semester, and $150 per part-time student. The subsidies will be made in two installments: Within the last two weeks of the fall semester and within the last two weeks of the winter semester.
4. Applications for assistance for full-year studies will be received until the deadline of December 1st of that year. Applications for assistance for the second semester only, will be received until the deadline of April 1st. Full-year students only need to apply once each year during the first semester.
